Barnesbury CC members have been invited to Northumbria Vikings, who are pleased to announce that their new Cycle Speedway track in Cramlington Learning Village will be opening with a Go Ride Race on Saturday 26th October 2013 followed by a challenge match against Birmingham. Coaching and sign on will start at 11.30am with Go Ride Racing starting at 12.30pm, cost is £2 payable on the day.
No cycle speedway experience is required as there will be a coaching session beforehand. Riders need to wear helmet, full finger gloves and long sleeves and trousers.
There will be a limited number of club cycle speedway bikes available to try which are suitable for age 8 up, but riders can bring their own mountain bikes too. The Sporting Club of Cramlington is the venue for the new club:
