Over 180 riders took park in the Barnesbury CC round of the CXNE League held at Gallagher Park, Bedlington on Sunday 3rd November 2013. Riders aged from 5 years old up to 60+ years took part in the cyclo-cross event. These riders ranged from novice/beginner riders up to ex international riders. With the range of riders competing over the same terrain and course it is an ideal way to develop bike skills and fitness.
Organiser Steve McIntosh said "I would like to thank all the volunteers for helping make the event an overwhelming success, it helps develop opportunities to our membership and again showcases the park as a place to cycle throughout the year."
