The club is organising a short programme of novice/intermediate level women only off road coaching in January 2014. None members are also very welcome. The aim of the sessions which will start on 4th, 11th and 18th January 2014 is to encourage more participation from female riders within the club and encourage non members to get involved in the club scene, as well as developing rider confidence (skills and fitness) and feeling able to join in a “cycling club”. The sessions will be "double sessions" shadowing the sessions which run on a Saturday morning for our youths (from 10am-12.00pm).
There will be no cost for members, however a charge will be levied for non members of £4 per session (second claim membership is available at £10 per year). Sessions will be 2 hours long and some equipment will be made available if people do not have an off road bike/helmet, but would still like to participate. Further sessions will be arranged including a trip to the National MTB centre at Manchester on 29th March 2014.
There is one place left, if you would like to get involved please send an email via the club website so further details can be forwarded.
