It gives me great pleasure to confirm that the club has now met all of the necessary criteria to be awarded the British Cycling Go-Ride and Sport England Clubmark award. ClubMark is a Sport England quality mark for sports clubs across ALL sports and is aimed at giving authorities and parents alike a quality assurance marker of what is being delivered at the club for young people.
The club will receive our certificate in the next couple of weeks.
The benefits associated with Go-Ride Clubmark status include:
· No sponsorship fees when you re-affiliate Barnesbury CC to British Cycling
· 7 free British Cycling silver memberships for 2 trained Club Welfare Officers, your Club Contact, and 4 fully qualified Coaches (please can you confirm which coaches you would like to be eligible for a free silver membership?)
· Use of the Clubmark Logo on any material relating to the club and its activities demonstrating to prospective participants the clubs high standards of operations (logos attached).
· 4 Adidas polo shirts for qualified coaches/volunteers
· 2 coats or hoodies (or 1 of each) for qualified coaches/volunteers
· 4 beanie hats
· Either a coaching kit bag or a coaching bursary (worth up to £150)
